The Story...

Candles have always been something that I have enjoyed immensely. When the seasons would change, I would often treat myself to a high-end, new candle to help add the finishing touches to my holiday or seasonal decor. The serene, soft glowing light and positive mood evoking qualities of a beautiful candle can bring a sense of comfort, luxury, and relaxation to any home. 

 

In 2017,  I started to learn about how many environmental toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis, and how dangerous they are to our health. At this point,  I decided to stop burning candles in my home. The reason being was that most candles contain many toxic chemicals, phthalates, parabens, and other unsavory ingredients that are not good for anyone, much less someone who was battling cancer like I was.

It saddened me to think about not having candles in my home anymore. So, I set out to change a few things in my life, and while I was at it, I was also going to create a beautiful candle that smelled fantastic and was truly clean, and cruelty-free.

After literally hundreds of attempts, failures, spilled wax, and exhausting periods of trial and error...I think I have come up with something quite good. I am proud to present, Carmel Candle Lab. I hope you like it too...
